New Hope and Ivyland Railroad Trip - October 25, 2020
I decided to take a trip to the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad, a tourist railroad located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to catch some operational tourist trains and get up close to my first dead line.

I started the day at the grade crossing on South Sugan Road in New Hope, Pennsylvania, to catch a few operational trains. Here are the shots.

The first train I saw was the Fall Foilage Train being led by a tender-forward 40 towards New Hope Station. I expected a different train to come from the other direction first, and this caught me by surprise. Still really happy with this shot though.

The excursion train caught me by surprise too. We had to leave the spot briefly, and I thought we had time to spare. But I miscalculated something - when we got back the gates were coming down! I still jumped out of the car and did the best I could, ending up with an okay result.
The second spot of the day was the New Hope and Ivyland station in New Hope, PA. There wasn't much to shoot here but I did get a few pictures nonetheless.

I have no clue how the train ended up in this position but I'm not complaining - it made for two pretty good shots! Also notice Pennsylvania Northeastern 7010 in the background of the second shot - I didn't notice at the time or I would have zoomed in for a picture!
The third and final place I went was a deadline in Newtown, Pennsylvania. It was right by the historic Wycombe station (4188 Township Line Rd, Newton PA), and had 4 classic GE locomotives along with a good variety of rolling stock. This is a very cool place and definitely worth the visit.

Overall, I had a great trip and would definitely recommend checking out the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad if you're in the area!
